Fresh revelations have emerged from the divorce proceedings of Apostle Solomon Oduro and Counsellor Charlotte Oduro, shedding light on the deep-seated issues that plagued their 16-year marriage.
During the court session, Solomon Oduro accused his ex-wife of depriving him of intimacy, claiming that since their marriage in 2008, they had only been intimate 12 times over the years.
His statement has sparked widespread reactions, as many express shocks at the claim. Meanwhile, Charlotte Oduro also made startling allegations, revealing that her former husband woke her up at 12 midnight to cook fufu for him, even after she had spent the entire day preaching and was visibly exhausted. She stated that despite being home throughout the day, he still insisted that she prepare the meal upon her return.
Although their divorce has now been finalised, these new revelations have furled further public debate about their marriage, gender roles, and expectations in relationships. Many have taken to social media to dissect the claims, with opinions split over who was at fault.
Some people have accused Charlotte Oduro of being a bad wife hence the divorce. She was lambasted for advising women to pamper their husbands while she was busy starving him of intimacy and affecting.
Meanwhile, after the divorce, Charlotte Oduro has stopped tying her hair and now wears makeup and wigs. She claimed she feels free after divorcing her husband.
