On 3rd February 2025, a fan of one of Ghana’s biggest football teams, Asante Kotoko, died after being stabbed to death at a match against Nsoatreman.
Francis Yaw Frimpong, better known as Pooley, was killed following a heated argument with an unidentified man during the game, according to a statement from Nsoatreman.
“The senseless loss of life is devastating,” – A part of the press statement released by Asante Kotoko read.
Pooley is being sent to join his maker today and below is a video from the solemn funeral ceremony.
