During a recent interview on Hitz FM, M.anifest made a surprising statement by saying he doesn’t know who Medikal is.
When asked about his thoughts on the diss track aimed at him on Medikal’s album Warning, M.anifest confidently dismissed any potential conflict, although his demeanour spoke volumes about an existing beef.
According to him, he and MDK don’t know each other; hence, there could be no issue between the two of them when they have probably not crossed paths before.
He revealed that he hadn’t even listened to Medikal’s album ‘Planning & Plotting’ as he had no familiarity with him.
“I didn’t listen to the album. I don’t even know about that. How can I have a problem when we don’t even know each other? he told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
The alleged feud between the two rappers allegedly began in 2019 when Medikal conveyed to M.anifest through a tweet that his songs only gain attention when he disses Sarkodie.
This occurred shortly after M.anifest dropped a new track called “Rapper 101,” which was widely perceived as a diss track by many prominent rappers in the industry.
Medikal addressed the issue on Twitter, saying, “The only time your music gets attention is when you diss Obidi, so if Obidi stop de do music you die be that”
However, M.anifest maintained that the song was not aimed at anybody. “I’ve heard the assertions that it’s a diss song but I don’t think that even the person they feel it’s targeted at will think it’s a diss. So that’s most important,” he had said on Citi FM.
