Popular Ghanaian comedian Abdul Waris Umaru, popularly known as Comedian Waris was seen filling potholes in the middle of a busy road in Accra on Wednesday, August 10, 2023 for ‘Nokofioo’

In a video sighted by Ghanaian Blogger, King Bygone on Waris’ social media pages, the comedian was seen with a shovel and wheelbarrow with sand filling potholes as he stops moving vehicles to beg for money.

The stunt was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media. Many people praised Waris for his act of kindness, while others questioned why he was doing it instead of the government.

Waris later took to social media to explain his actions. He said that he was simply trying to make a difference in his community. He also said that he was tired of seeing people getting injured in potholes.

As the video turns out to be a comedy skit, it also depicts the bad roads in the country and how some individuals have to fill these potholes to make ends meet.
