The legal battle involving businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye (RNAQ), his ex-wife Joana Quaye and socialite Hajia4Reall has taken a new turn.
Joana Quaye has filed an application asking the court to restrict Hajia4Reall’s access to her children, arguing that the socialite’s involvement in their lives is becoming a concern.
Court documents sighted by local media show that Joana’s lawyers questioned Hajia4Reall’s suitability to be around the children, citing her previous fraud conviction. They also submitted a video which they claim shows the children engaging in behaviour they consider inappropriate while in her care.
The application was strongly opposed by lawyers for RNAQ.
They argued that the court cannot make a decision affecting Hajia4Reall without hearing from her directly, insisting that such a move would be unfair and against the principles of natural justice.
RNAQ’s legal team also maintained that issues relating to custody had already been addressed in an earlier High Court ruling.
When the matter came up in court, the judge deferred proceedings to June 26, 2026, and is expected to review the video evidence before deciding the next step.
