Ghanaian actress Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, popularly known as Ahoufe Patri, has opened up about her experience with sex-for-roles as a budding actress.
In an interview on Max TV, she revealed that the issue is widespread and not limited to the entertainment industry.
“The issue of sex-for-roles is not just in the movie industry; it happens in many professions,” she stated.
Recalling her experience at the age of 19, she shared how a producer who recognized her talent insisted on a personal relationship before offering her opportunities.
“He told me to climb the bed before he would help me, but I declined because I loved my boyfriend. The producer got upset,” she revealed.
Years later, after she had already made a name for herself, she unexpectedly crossed paths with the same producer.
However, she did not disclose what transpired during their second encounter.
