“You will only s!n if you want to”- Sonnie Badu defends lyrics of secular musicians

Ghanaian Gospel singer, Sonny Badu has debunked assertions that the lyrics of secular musicians can lead someone to do something wrong.

Speaking in an interview with ace journalist Bola Ray, Sonnie Badu affirmed that he listens to acts like Shatta Wale and Burna Boy.

When asked about what he thought of the impact of the ‘Igbo and shayo’ lyrics used by Burna Boy in his hit song ‘Las las’, Sonnie Badu explained that a person would do something bad if they want to, and lyrics do not necessarily facilitate wrongdoings.
