A young female referee recently made headlines after an intense confrontation with a spectator who insulted her during a local football match. The incident, which occurred in Ghana, saw the referee react furiously after being called “Onye Gbemi,” a derogatory Ga phrase implying ‘Her Mother ***’
In a video sighted by King Bygone, the Referee approached the spectators and asked, ‘Who said Onye Gbemi’, whiles holding her Yellow Card.
She furiously asked whoever, say that to leave immediately.
