During the interview, the actress revealed her struggles while in Germany, which compelled her to move back to her home country.
She continued that her adversity continued in Ghana, which followed insults from people.
The Ghanaian actress’ heartbreaking experiences filled the room with emotions, bringing tears into her eyes and those of Emelia Brobbey.
“When I was suffering, I remember how people used to disgrace me because, according to them, I was a lazy person. God knows I am hardworking. When I was in Germany, life was very tough for me. When I moved from Germany to Ghana, I had no money on me. Life wasn’t easy for me.
I remember when I was going to shoot the first promo of my series. I went with an Uber, and my mother paid for the ride. When I left home to the place, I didn’t even have GHC1.00 on me.
“I went to shoot the video on an empty stomach, and when I was even going, I was worried about how I would even provide my guests with water, but God being so good, no one requested water. I went to stay with my mother when I returned from Germany. I have been through a lot, but God is with me. A lot of people planned to disgrace me, but I’m grateful to God for seeing me through,” she said.
Nayas disclosed that her new show was birthed by life hurdles, explaining the tribulations she faced before the show rose to popularity.
