  • Ghanaian prophet Kwabena Okumdom has declared that the Black Stars will beat Colombia in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 clash
  • He urged Ghanaians to expect miracles from the team when the two sides meet on Saturday, July 4
  • The prophecy has sparked mixed reactions, with some Ghanaians questioning why prophets did not foresee the recent Accra floods

Ghanaian prophet Kwabena Okumdom has boldly declared victory for the Black Stars ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 showdown against Colombia.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the man of God said he had seen Ghana triumphing over the South Americans and asked the nation to prepare for a miraculous performance from the team.

Prophet Kwabena Okumdom

“Go and tell Ghanaians to expect miracles from the team on Saturday. I am telling you, as a prophet, that Ghana is going to send Colombia home,” he declared.

Not his first Black Stars prophecy

This is not the first prophecy Kwabena Okumdom has released about the crucial fixture. Days earlier, the prophet claimed God was set to restore Thomas Partey through the Colombia match, saying he had watched the game “in the spiritual realm” and had seen the midfielder emerging as the saviour of the clash, with the whole world congratulating him.

The Black Stars face Colombia on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, having qualified for the knockout stage on the back of strong performances against Panama and England before falling 2-1 to Croatia in their final group game.

Okumdom is not the only man of God who has weighed in on the fixture.

Cameroonian prophet Perez Ndi, whose earlier prediction of Senegal’s defeat to Belgium reportedly came to pass, revealed a contrasting vision showing Colombia scoring twice, though he insisted the outcome could still change if Ghanaians interceded in prayer for the team.

Ghanaians react to the prophecy Prophet Kwabena Okumdom

The prophecy has stirred heated debate online, with many Ghanaians unimpressed, particularly in the wake of the devastating floods that hit Accra on June 29, which some argued the prophets failed to foresee.

“Prophecies with emotions. If you were a Colombian you would have prophesied that Colombia will win.”

Whether Okumdom’s declaration comes to pass will be known on Saturday when the Black Stars step onto the pitch in Kansas City, hoping to march into the Round of 16 and edge closer to matching their historic 2010 quarter-final run.
