A man speaking in a video capturing the situation said the number of commercial vehicles operating between Accra and Kasoa had reduced, leaving many passengers struggling to find transport.
“The commercial vehicles are no longer operating in large numbers from Accra to Kasoa because drivers are being arrested for charging GH¢15 or GH¢20, and now people are stranded here,” he said.
The footage shows a number of people gathered by the roadside, with some appearing to wait for vehicles to take them to their various destinations.
The situation has reportedly made it difficult for some passengers to get vehicles, with fewer commercial cars available along the route.
