New photos of actor Abraham Attah have got Ghanaians talking, with many reacting to how different he looks from the child star they first knew.
In a photo sighted by nsemwokrom.com, the Beasts of No Nation actor looks far removed from his boyhood role as Agu. Some social media users questioned his changed appearance, while others defended him and said he had simply grown up.
Attah has changed his look several times over the past year. He has debuted dreadlocks, big earrings and a gym-built physique in a run of Instagram posts, often taken in the United States, where he is based.

He was 13 when he shot to fame in the 2015 Netflix film Beasts of No Nation, playing a child soldier alongside Idris Elba. The role won him the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at the Venice International Film Festival and the Best Male Lead prize at the Independent Spirit Awards.
He is now 23. In May 2026, he shared photos from his graduation from Tufts University in the United States, posing in an academic gown with a kente sash. Congratulations poured in from Ghanaians at the time.
Attah has not commented on the reactions to his latest photos.
For many Ghanaians, the latest images have brought back memories of the actor’s early career, when his youthful appearance and acting talent made him one of the most talked-about young stars in the country.
