The announcement, released on Sunday, August 23, 2026, was signed by Reverend Nnamdy Echezona on behalf of the church leadership.

Church Leadership Releases Statement on Pastor Aromaegbe's Passing

The church leadership released a statement remembering Aromaegbe as a faithful servant whose influence as a visionary leader, teacher, mentor, and Kingdom builder reached members of the Rivers-based congregation and the broader Dominion International family. The statement read: "Though we deeply miss his physical presence, we rejoice in the hope we have in Christ and celebrate a life well lived, a race well run, and a legacy that will continue for generations."

The church called on members and all connected to Dominion International to pray for the pastor's family and the congregation during this difficult period. The notice concluded with a scripture from 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
