Nigerian reality TV show winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, also known as Phyna, has spoken out after being criticized online for her statement that every woman has had an abortion.
Phyna, who won The Big Brother Naija season 7 ‘Level Up’ in 2022, made this controversial statement during an interview with Chude.
Her statement in the interview raised a lot of eyebrows, and many of her fans and netizens condemned and advised her to speak for herself only and not generalize it.
Phyna, however, in a recent post on her Instagram story, shared more writings to support her claims that many women have had an abortion in one way or another.
Replying to a follower who asked her if she thought about the statement before saying it during the interview, Phyna responded by saying, “Only virgins are safe hypocrites.”
She went on to add that the use of pills and contraceptives to prevent pregnancy during sex is equivalent to abortion.
According to her “As long as you having sex as a woman If you drink posti**r that’s abortion, If you drank becharm ampilox and warm water that’s abortion.”
