Aburi Presby SHTS Spoil the Party for OLA SHS in NSMQ 2026
OLA SHS Crash Out of NSMQ 2026
Aburi Presby Senior High Technical School (SHTS) has crashed out of OLA Senior High School (SHS) in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2026, leaving the Ho-based school in the dust. OLA SHS, a contender for the major upset, ultimately fell short in the competition.
Those hopes, however, quickly faded as Aburi Presby took control from the opening round and never relinquished the lead.
GOIL Riddle Bonanza Comforts OLA SHS
The defeat was softened by a consolation prize, as the school won the GOIL Riddle Bonanza. The win is a silver lining for the school, but it cannot undo the disappointment of crashing out of the NSMQ.
Aburi Presby SHTS Dominates the Competition
Aburi Presby took control from the opening round and never relinquished the lead, finishing strongly on 51 points, 10 clear of OLA SHS' 41 points. The school's composure and strong performance paid off in the end.
The NSMQ Preliminaries Continue
The NSMQ preliminaries continue, with more schools making the cut for the next stage, while others are seeing their campaigns end sooner than they had hoped. Our Lady of Lourdes Girls' SHS, another contender, struggled to make an impact, ending the contest on 13 points.
