The Family of the late Akua Donkor have denied receiving an amount of Ghc300,000 towards the burial of the late founder of Ghana Freedom Party(GFP).
It would be remembered that some few weeks ago, Afia Schwarzenegger made a wild claim that the family of Akua Donkor had abandoned her corpse at the morgue after receiving an amount of Ghc300K.
She in the video claimed that instead of the family using the money for her funeral, they rather used it to renovate their family house, thinking they would get extra money from some people.
Fast forward, some family members granted an interview to Captain Smart on Onua TV this morning and have denied receiving the said amount.
According to the family spokesperson, the amount the family got was Ghc100K and even with that, he didn’t know who gave out that amount of money, but indeed the money was used to renovate their family house ahead of the funeral and burial.
One other family member disclosed that she knew where the money was coming from and it was from Mad. Frema Opare.
They asked that whosoever claimed that they gave the family Ghc300k should come out and state it and possibly the person he/she handed the money to rather than tarnishing the family’s image.
