Another tragic incident has claimed the life of a young Ghanaian man, Marvin Baah Boadu, near an apartment in Toronto.
The victim, a student in his 20s, was fatally shot around 8 PM on Monday in the Clearview Heights and Trethewey Drive area. According to reports, Marvin was shot three times, sustaining critical injuries.
Emergency responders performed life-saving measures at the scene before rushing him to the hospital, but sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

This tragic loss marks the 72nd homicide in Toronto this year, a city grappling with increasing gun violence. Earlier in February, another Ghanaian, 39-year-old Adu Boakye, was also shot and killed, adding to the growing concerns within the Ghanaian community and beyond.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the killing, and residents in the area are calling for enhanced security measures as they mourn the loss of another promising young life.
