Popular Ghanaian media personality, Gloria Akpene Nyarku, widely known as MzGee, has publicly confirmed that she is no longer married to Raymond Acquah of The Multimedia Group Ltd.

In a self-made video, Mzgee disclosed that she had been separated from Raymond Acquah for three years and legally divorced for the past two years.

“My name is Gloria Akpene Nyarku. I have no documentation that bears the name Acquah. I know this is because once upon a time you knew a certain Raymond Acquah who I was married to.

Unfortunately, I have been separated from Raymond Acquah for three years and officially divorced from him for two years, so I don’t have any ties to him,”  She stated.

While the former couple had chosen to keep their separation private, MzGee explained that she felt compelled to clarify the situation due to the presence of a child in her life.

“I wouldn’t have responded to or addressed it because it is nobody’s business what I did with my private life, but now there’s a child involved, and I do not want him growing up to be confused about his paternity. I have no business whatsoever anymore with Raymond Acquah,” she added.

MzGee also urged the public and media to respect her identity and refrain from associating her with her ex-husband.

“I see that people want to attach us. Yes, maybe you didn’t know; it’s ok. My name is Gloria Akpene Nyarku. No Acquah attached. Please let the gentleman breathe.”

Her statement has sparked conversations on social media, with fans and followers sharing their views on her decision to go public about the divorce.
