Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as LilWin, recently made a bold statement that captured attention when he said he would divorce his wife if his mother ever asked him to.
In an interview with Zionfelix on January 22, 2025, LilWin shared his deep love and respect for his mother, saying, “If I haven’t divorced my wife, my sisters can’t tell me to do so, but if my mother tells me to divorce her, I will do it the same day. Because I don’t need any respect from my wife; I want her to respect my mother.”
LilWin further explained that he believes his wife should learn from his mother’s wisdom and the valuable lessons she has taught him about marriage. His admiration for his mother’s life experiences has been a guiding force in his own life.
Lilwin gifted his mother Ante Adwoa Afrah, a lavish 12-bedroom mansion for her 80th birthday recently.
