The year 2024 is ending on a bad note for some people as they lost their loved ones.
While some lost their loved ones at the begining of the year, others lost their family members few days to the official end of year.
Ghana’s entertainment sector wasn’t also spared under the review years as some top and favourite celebrities lost their lives to the icy hands of death.

Osman Idris aka Yogot
On June 11, 2024, Osman Idris, better known by his stage name Yoghurt, who was a prominent actor in the well-known Junka Town films, passed away.
Yogot is referred to as Baba No Face because of his reputation for portraying con artists in movies. He passed away in Effiakuma’s Great Faith Family Clinic.
Albert Jackson-Davis
Veteran actor Albert Jackson-Davis died on 14 September It was revealed that he had died on Saturday, September 14th.
Vincent McCauley
Vincent McCauley, a well-known Ghanaian actor who died on Monday, January 15, 2024, after undergoing surgery in South Africa to remove a brain tumor.
He is noted for his role in movie series Things we do for Love and YOLO.
Kofi Owusu Dua Anto aka KODA
KODA, was a Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Takoradi.
He gave up his ghost on Sunday 21st April, 2024 after battling a kidney disease for some years.
Mercy Little Smith
On December 18, 2024, Mercy Little Smith, a Ghanaian actress best known for playing “Benyiwaa” in the hit television series Efiewura, went suddenly.
She died at the age of 43. Little information is known about the cause of her death but her one-week observation is scheduled to come off tomorrow 28th December, 2024.
Bright Owusu aka C-Confion
While movie lover were yet to come to terms with the death of Mercy ‘Little’ Smith, popular actor C confion death also was announced sending his fans into a state of mourning.
C confion who became known thanks for his role in Akabenezer’s skit was days ago reported sick and was on admission at KATH but he couldn’t make it out as he succumbed to death on the 20th of December, 2024.
Naa Amanua Dodoo
Legendary Ghanaian traditional singer Naa Amanua Dodoo, known for her iconic work with Wulomei Band,also passed away few days ago.
