A moment of awkwardness unfolded at the National Mosque in Kanda during President John Mahama’s arrival for the National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service.
As part of the event marking Mahama’s successful swearing-in on January 7, key officials, including NDC General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, accompanied the President.
However, what stole the spotlight was a dramatic snub that caught the attention of attendees. A man, believed to be a member of the congregation, blatantly ignored Asiedu Nketiah’s attempt at a handshake as he made his way through the crowd. The brief but glaring moment left those around visibly stunned and sparked murmurs among the congregants.
