The one-week observation for former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor, is currently ongoing at Peduase in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Numerous top political and non-political leaders have descended on the venue to pay their respects to the late first lady and mourn with ex-President Kufuor.
Dignitaries at the event include President Nana Akufo-Addo, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, 2nd Lady Samira Bawumia.
Others include Ministers such as Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Roads Minister Amoako Atta – NPP politicians Sammi Awuku, Richard Anane, Chief of Staff Frema Opare and more.
Former NPP Presidential candidate turned Independent candidate, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, was also present.
Meanwhile, celebrities also turned up including former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, businessman Freedom Jacob Caesar, musician Akosua Agyapong and more.
