A video has been circulating on social media showing two Legon girls fighting over a guy at Jean Nelson Hall, a female dormitory at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Jean Nelson Aka Hall is one of the four new Halls of residence located on the southern part of the Legon Campus off the road to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research. The Hall was named after the late Dr. Jean Nelson Aka, a distinguished alumnus of the University.
The video, which a fellow student filmed, shows the two girls indulging in a serious argument as one was heard saying “He’ll Choose me over you“.
One of the girls can be heard shouting that the guy would choose her over the other girl. The other girl insists that she is the one the guy loves.
The fight reportedly lasted for several minutes before it was broken up by other students. The guy who was the object of the fight is nowhere to be seen in the video.
This is not the first time that a fight has broken out between students over a guy at the University of Ghana. In 2021, two female students were filmed fighting over a guy at the Mensah Sarbah Hall.
