Nigerian President Tinubu Approves Historic Pay Hike for Military Pers

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a significant overhaul of the salary structure for the country's Armed Forces. The new pay structure will see a General earning N3.25 million ($2,388) monthly and a Private's pay rising to N187,200 ($137.59) from September 1, 2026.
