A throwback video of Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin bragging about killing people a few days to his movie premier has caused a stir on social media.

In the video, Lilwin had just welcomed one of the Nigerian actors who featured in the movie to Ghana. He was so excited that he started talking about how they will “decapitate and kill” people in Kumasi for the movie premiere.

Even though he made those statements as a joke, some people accused him of accomplishing his goal after the sudden death of a three-year-old boy.

According to Citi News, the boy named Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah, were hit by the actor’s car at Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Saturday, May 25.

Eye-witnesses reported that Lil Win was driving at high speed, leading to the accident.

Nana Yaw and his father were rushed to a nearby hospital and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where the little boy passed away.

Mr Ampomah is currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s emergency unit for a leg fracture sustained in the accident.

A relative of the deceased, in an interview with the Accra-based station, said the family is considering legal action and has expressed concern about the lack of attention given to the victims at the accident scene, while the focus was on the actor.
