The 25th annual Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) is set for June 1, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre’s Grand Arena. Hosted by Charterhouse, the awards honor artists for their outstanding contributions to Ghana’s music scene.
This landmark event celebrates the 25-year history of TGMA, recognizing the achievements of the music industry. The night will honor the cultural and musical heritage of Ghana, with a large turnout expected from industry stakeholders, fans, managers, and media professionals.
The evening promises stellar performances from top artists including Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Mr. Drew, Nacee, Amerado, King Paluta, Efya, Amaree, and Team Eternity. The ‘Artiste of the Year’ award will be a highlight, with nominees Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Nacee, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy vying for the title.

Preceding the awards, the “Xperience Concert” in Cape Coast featured notable performances, raising excitement for the main event. With 30 categories up for grabs, the competition is fierce, reflecting the high level of talent and creativity in Ghana’s music industry.
The 25th TGMA is supported by Charterhouse and partners such as TV3, Guinness, Captain Morgan, Closeup, and the British Council, highlighting the event’s significance in celebrating Ghanaian music.
