Following a theft incident during a music performance in Ejisu on Sunday, April 20, 2025, award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artist Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, has kept his word to a female fan.

The female fan, Lilian Antwi, confirmed on her TikTok profile a few days after the event that the president of BHIM Nation had given her money to buy a new iPhone after she had misplaced her old one during an event.

The young woman in the video denied rumors that she and Stonebwoy orchestrated the theft incident during the performance as a PR ploy.

Despite being a huge admirer of the dancehall artist, the young woman said that she had never met or known Stonebwoy before going to the event in Ejisu.

Lilian revealed that she was a Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) student who had been enjoying Stonebwoy’s music ever since he joined the Ghanaian music scene as Samini’s protégé.

She further described how Stonebwoy then gave his bodyguard instructions to give her the money so she could buy a new phone to replace the one that had been stolen.

The young woman stated that she merely wished to publicly clarify the matter and had no interest in seeking attention on social media.

Lilian Antwi expressed her gratitude to Stonebwoy for making the generous gesture towards her at the music concert in Ejisu, despite him not being obligated to do so.
