Stonebwoy's Team Denies BHIM Festival Sabotage Allegations

The Head of Public Relations for Stonebwoy and Burniton Music Group has dismissed claims of sabotage targeting some artistes billed for the upcoming BHIM Festival London.

Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng has described the reports as baseless, assuring fans that all artistes officially billed for the festival remain committed to the show. According to her, the engagements between the organisers and the artistes are strictly tied to the festival date, meaning any performances they may have before or after the event do not affect their appearance at BHIM Festival London.

The 2026 edition of BHIM Festival London is expected to bring together some of the biggest music acts in Ghana, celebrating the global reach of Afrobeats and Ghanaian music. Stonebwoy, a prominent figure in the Ghanaian music scene, has been instrumental in promoting Afrobeats worldwide. His festival has become a major platform for Ghanaian artists to showcase their talents on a global stage.

Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng explained that their contract with the artistes is solely for August 15, the date of the festival. If an artiste does not show up on stage on that day, then the team would have a case against them. She added that the team is confident all announced performers will be present on the night, urging fans not to be distracted by unverified reports.

In a statement, Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng advised the public to rely only on official communication from Stonebwoy, his public relations team, or Burniton Music Group regarding matters concerning the festival. If the communication is not coming from Stonebwoy himself, her, or his team, she said to take it as a rumour with no truth to it.

The festival is scheduled to take place at the OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The event promises to be an exciting celebration of Ghanaian music and culture, with many fans eagerly awaiting the performances of the artistes billed for the festival.
