Ghanaian gospel music has a fresh and powerful voice in Angela Afadua Annoh, better known as Pst. Apha. Her debut single, ‘Jesus Do Me J3j3’, is not just a song, it’s a heartfelt message of hope, trust, and faith in God.

Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, Angela grew up in the vibrant neighborhood of Santa Maria, surrounded by music. In her family, everyone could either sing or play an instrument, and that environment shaped Angela’s passion for music early on.
As a child, she loved leading worship, often gathering her friends to sing praises in church. It was clear from the beginning that music wasn’t just a hobby for her, it was her calling.

Despite having no formal training, Angela’s natural talent, soulful voice, and deep passion for ministry have set her apart. With every song, she aims to share the message of God’s love and inspire people to draw closer to Him.

Speaking about her debut single, Angela explains:
“Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and we’re tempted to look to people for help, but the truth is, people can disappoint us. The Bible reminds us that those who put their trust in God will never be put to shame. For your struggles, God promises to give you double honor. That’s the inspiration behind this song—‘Jesus Do Me J3j3’ is a reminder that God works gently, perfectly, and faithfully in our lives.”

The song’s blend of uplifting lyrics and soul-stirring melodies speaks to the hearts of listeners, offering encouragement during tough times and reminding them to lean on God.

Angela’s music is deeply personal, drawing from her own experiences, observations of life, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Her love for gospel legends like CeCe Winans, Nathaniel Bassey, and Joe Mettle has influenced her style, blending urban and contemporary gospel with a heartfelt and authentic touch.

But her journey hasn’t been without challenges. Angela admits that stepping into the world of gospel music required her to leave her comfort zone and fully trust in God. Each step has been a lesson in resilience, faith, and purpose, shaping her not just as an artist but as a minister of the gospel.
