A primary school teacher has been arrested in Nigeria after a staggering amount of money equivalent to 8,176,119.70 Ghanaian Cedis was found in her account.
According to the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (IPC) , the woman is a primary school teacher who earns a mere N756K which is equivalent to some 1,150 Ghana cedis.
Report from the IPC also revealed that the lady who goes by the name Egbuha worked with some private owned company to divert the money after she was as caught .
A statement by the commission’s spokesperson, Azuka Ogugua revealed that the court presided over by Justice D.U Okorowo also ruled for the confiscation of cars belonging to Egbuha and some of her accomplices in money laundering activities.
