A new confirmed report has it that Ghanaian broadcaster Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah has been arrested by the Cyber Crime Unit of the Ghana Police Service
According to the report, Okatakyie was arrested this afternoon.
Speaking in an interview, Okatakyie’s lawyer lamented that the police nabbed his client in Rambo style.
As confirmed by the lawyer, after his arrest, his house was also raided, and his phone, laptops, and other gadgets were also seized.
As of the publication of this article, Okatakyie Afrifa is still in police custody pending investigation.
Why Okatakyie Afrifa was arrested by the National Security
According to Kwame Appiah Kubi of Kessben FM, Okatakyie Afrifa was arrested because of comments he made about Galamsey some months ago.
Speaking on live radio this morning, Appiah Kubi claimed Okatakyie Afrifa was nabbed because of his worrying accusations that National Security operatives are aiding galamseyers. READ MORE HERE
