Veteran Kumawood actor Alex Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has regretfully spoken about how he wishes he had kids abroad.
The actor was addressing issues in his first marriage and speculation about his romantic involvement with a woman from the UK while still being married to his ex-wife.
Agya Koo ended his 17-year marriage with his first wife in 2013 and revealed that despite their turbulent relationship and frequent trips overseas, he remained loyal and never fathered any children outside of their marriage.

Speaking at length on the reasons behind his divorce, Agya Koo addressed these topics in an interview on Fox FM.
In retrospect, he blamed some of his colleagues for being the main tool used to destroy his marriage and said that if he had been polygamous, he would have had many children with numerous women. He also said his marriage ended because of allegations of adultery on his wife’s part.
As posted by GhanaWeb, Agya Koo said, “I would’ve had lots of kids abroad if I liked women. I was scared of my wife; I was scared of what she would do to me. The whole time I traveled abroad, I never had kids and although several women approached me, I tried my best not to. I respected and honored my wife. People advised me to give birth abroad, I should’ve heeded the advice. by now my child would’ve been 20 years old.”
“A lot of my colleagues are part of the reasons why it didn’t work. I remember there was an instance when I woke her up at 3 am and asked my wife to be careful because people were plotting against our marriage. I told her I had envisaged what was about to happen and the people behind it knew that it wouldn’t work with me so they would try their best to make her the target.”
” When all the major deals were coming my way exactly during that period, people exchanged contacts with my wife and started staying in touch with her. They were advising her on several things. And most of these people were my colleagues. There were times, when they’l invite her to hotels, and host her there for some time; I have all this information, I know these people. I meet these people and still give them money,” he added.
