A young man has surfaced on social media claiming he is the one who tasked thugs to break down the statue of Nana Akufo Addo at the Effia Nkwanta Hospital roundabout.
Yesterday, we woke up with the news that the controversial statue had been vandalized by some unknown people.
The statue had been pulled down and destroyed with its head taken off its body.
Following this, a young man who is based in the US has come out to claim glory for this saying he hired people to do the job for $1000.
In a video available online, he stated that former President Nana Addo took the people of Takoradi for granted and therefore felt the need to destroy the statue.
