A local food vendor has warmed hearts by reducing the price of kenkey to GH¢2 as a unique way of honoring President John Mahama’s leadership. The gesture has been widely praised as a creative celebration of his reign.

This comes after she opted to sell her food at a reduced price to celebrate John Mahama’s return as President of Ghana.

Meanwhile, during his inauguration at the Black Star Square, President Mahama pledged to prioritize healthcare improvements in Ghana. He highlighted the challenges posed by globalisation and climate change, warning about the spread of ancient viruses and bacteria due to melting permafrost in the Arctic.

Mahama emphasized the need to strengthen Ghana’s health systems to combat emerging diseases effectively.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by several African leaders, underscored the nation’s readiness to embrace progress under Mahama’s leadership.
