A building near Palace Mall in Labone has reportedly caught fire, causing panic among residents and people within the area.
The incident, which is currently unfolding, has drawn the attention of passersby and motorists as thick smoke was seen rising from the building.
Videos from the scene circulating on social media show flames spreading through parts of the structure while some residents and shop owners nearby rushed to safety.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and there is currently no official information about casualties or injuries.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service are expected to respond to the situation as efforts are made to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
