Bill Kenwright was an English theatre and film producer, actor, singer and chairman of Everton Football Club. He was born on 4 September 1945 in Liverpool and died on 23 October 2023 in London.
He was one of the UK’s most successful theatre impresarios, producing more than 500 shows in West End, Broadway, UK touring and international theatre.
He was also a lifelong Everton fan who joined the club’s board in 1989 and became the chairman in 2004. He was awarded a CBE in 2001 for his services to film and theatre.

Bill Kenwright was married twice. His first wife was Anouska Hempel, an actress and hotelier, whom he married in 1978 and divorced in 1980.
His second wife was Jenny Seagrove, an actress and animal rights activist, whom he married in 1994. They remained married until his death in 2023.
