Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder of International God’s Way Church, has claimed that investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas asked him to assist in bringing a defamation action against lawmaker Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
Speaking to his audience at a recent church service, the well-liked pastor mentioned that throughout his years-long fight with Kennedy Agyapong, the investigative journalist would frequently call and meet with him.
Bishop Daniel Obinim stated that Anas Aremeyaw once contacted him through a co-pastor and told him who he really was.
Speaking in Twi, Obinim said:
“He (Anas) called Pastor Raymond and told him that he wanted to meet me because the other person (Kennedy Agyapong) was worrying me at that time. I met him (Anas), and he showed me his true identity without the mask. He told me he did not mind me recording him.”
