In a heartbreaking incident at Kasoa New Market, four individuals tragically lost their lives following a building collapse. The victims were working on the second floor of the structure when it suddenly gave way, leading to the devastating accident.
The group, which included a carpenter and three other workers, were engaged in construction activities on the second floor of the building.
Without warning, the structure collapsed, trapping them under the rubble. The carpenter was killed instantly in the collapse, while the other three workers were critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.
Despite the swift response by emergency services and the efforts to save the lives of the three injured workers, they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries during transit.
The tragedy has left the community in shock, with many mourning the loss of life and questioning how such a catastrophic event could have occurred.
