Unfortunately, 16-year-old Ransford Owusu Ansah, has died after spending months in the hospital.
As reported, Ransforf was sodomized by his academy team coach, identified as Coach Ibrahim Anyass.
The abuse reportedly led to a kidney infection that ultimately caused his death.
Before his passing, the deceased revealed that his coach had frequently sodomized him during his years at the academy.
The coach allegedly convinced Ransford that these acts were meant to help improve his declining performance.
Meanwhile, the coach is currently on the run and Ransford’s mother has offered a GHS 5,000 reward to anyone who can provide information leading to his arrest.
She has also called on Ghanaians to help her seek justice for her son.
