It’s a black Friday for the Ghanaian Gospel music industry as one of them, Kofi Dua Anto, popularly known as KODA is being laid to rest today.
The final funeral rites for KODA took place at the KICC Dominion Centre, Spintex Road in Accra.
KODA died earlier this year on Sunday, April 24, 2024, at the age of 45. He was one of the most loved gospel artistes in Ghana.
The multi-award-winning artiste, who was passionate about sharing the gospel and helping shape the sound, and music direction of others through music production often performed live at events.
The 45-year-old left behind his wife and three children. He was not just a singer but a producer who left an indelible mark on the Ghanaian music scene with songs such as ‘Nsempii,’ ‘Nkwa Abodoo,’ ‘Yapai,’ and ‘Adorso’.
The scenes from the funeral service was a solemn one.
