Rakim Hasheem Allen, born on December 9, 1991, known by his stage name PnB Rock aka Grundle, was an American rapper and singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He was best known for his 2015 single “Fleek” and 2016 single “Selfish”, which peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100, as well as his uncredited vocals on XXXTentacion’s “Changes”, which peaked at number 18.
He released two studio albums; Catch These Vibes (2017) and TrapStar Turnt PopStar (2019).
In 2017, Allen was chosen as part of the XXL Freshman Class.
On September 12, 2022, Allen was fatally shot during an attempted robbery at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles in Los Angeles.
