Penny Mordaunt is a British politician who has been serving as Minister of State for Trade Policy since 2021.

A member of the Conservative Party, she has been the Member of Parliament (MP) representing Portsmouth North since 2010.

She previously served as Secretary of State for International Development between 2017 and 2019 and Secretary of State for Defence in 2019 under Theresa May’s Cabinet.
