Mr Joseph Aloba who is the father of late Nigerian musician Mohbad has stated that he believes Naira Marley had no hand in the death of his son.
In an interview, the father of Mohbad disclosed that he is seeking justice for his son and would go to all lengths to make sure he gets that for his son.
He continued that he had heard people blame Marlian record CEO Naira Marley and Sam Larry for having a hand in the death of his son but his investigation shows Naira Marley wasn’t in town when Mohbad died.
According to him, Naira Marley was out of Nigeria when Mohbad died and so he believes he has no hand in the death because he was not even in the house when the incident happened.

He said, “Even Naira Marley wasn’t there when Mohbad died. So he (Mohbad) was inside the house where he was killed. There’s nothing like tracing Naira Marley. Marley wasn’t in Nigeria that day when he died. So I’m sure that it wasn’t Marley that killed him.”
The spotlight had been cast on figures like Naira Marley and Sam Larry, former associates of Mohbad, following allegations of bullying and the singer’s subsequent death. Both were questioned by the police and granted bail.
