A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to express her distress after leaving her baby with her mother-in-law for just few hours, only to return and find her child dramatically changed.

The incident which was shared by the distressed mother @uniquebae04 on TikTok has ignited a flurry of reactions.

According to the heartbroken mother, she had entrusted her little daughter to the care of her mother-in-law for a brief period, only to return to an unexpected and distressing situation.

Instead of finding her child as she had left her, @uniquebae was shocked to discover that her mother-in-law had taken it upon herself to give the baby a peculiar haircut without seeking permission or even informing her.

In her tearful narration, @uniquebae expresses her speechlessness and emotional turmoil over the unforeseen alteration to her child’s appearance.
