Ghanaian ‘man of God’, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has revealed that he is a ‘fake pastor’ and created miracles in order to trend, get more attention and grow his church.
In a viral video taken from a sermon, the founder and leader of the Tema-based, International Godsway Ministries, said he concocted miracles as well as fake prophecies to gain attention to his church.
He said he knew that engaging in those antics will get him trending and therefore increase the visibility of his church. Via that means, Obinim was able to grow his church into one of the largest one-man churches in the country.
The controversial man of God has come under fire over the years due to his absurd, attention-grabbing antics which included lashing kids in his church, retrieving a passport from the spiritual realm, hard-to-believe miracles, and claiming to be a literal angel of God who can turn into animals at will.
Since establishing his fame and fortune, Obinim has been gradually renouncing his former claims and powers. He admitted lying about being able to turn into animals and has now also admitted many of his miracles and antics were faked.
