Award-winning Ghanaian singer and dancer, Mr. Drew is in his “Lover Boy Era” but wishes he got more love back!
The singer, who recently launched a new EP, talked about his Valentine’s Day plans and shared a surprising heartbreak story from his release party.
During an interview with AJ Sarpong on 3FM, covered by MyNewsGh, Mr. Drew admitted he loves giving thoughtful gifts but rarely gets many in return.
“I sent PR packages and flowers. A lot of pink flowers. A very big bouquet,” he revealed. “I actually sent them days before Valentine’s and asked, ‘Would you be my Valentine?’”
But when asked about the best gift he has received on Valentine’s Day, he laughed and said, “For now, a massage. That was it.”
He jokingly called on Ghanaian ladies to do better. “
Girls, you people have to let me enjoy small. I give, but I don’t really receive. Ghana girls, we have to do better,” he said, playfully addressing his female fans.
