The Ghana Education Service in the last 1 week has taken two actions against Teachers going against the Code of Ethics laid down for them.
Recently, a video of the Assistant Headmaster of Academics for KNUST SHS in Kumasi was removed for being in a compromised position with his female student. The GES took swift action by removing the Headmaster, Mr. Aidoo, and warned him to stay away from the school premises until the investigation is over.

Another video has been going viral for at least 2 days now, and this one is from Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School, where a teacher identified as Mr. Mfo Richard Tibetor was having intercourse with one of his female students whose identity is unknown.
The GES has taken another action against the teacher by interdicting him on October 2, 2025, and barred the Mr. Richard from entering Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School, in the Jasikan Municipality in the Oti Region.
The Education body described the situation as unacceptable behaviour from the teacher and assured parents and guardians that the safety of their wards is a topmost priority and will continue to ensure professionalism in every school across the country.

The Viral footage was obviously taken by some students or other teachers who were roaming behind the office but drew near by the sounds they were producing.
This act has been rumored to be occurring in most senior high schools and Universities for many years, but the past week has confirmed it.
Reports indicate tha most students engage in such acts with tutors to better their grades.

These circulating videos have caused an uproar among parents whose children are in senior high schools, asking why teachers who are supposed to guide their students and warn them to refrain from such immoral acts are engaging them.
