Ghanaian gospel singer and wife of Bishop Daniel Obinim, Florence Obinim, has firmly dismissed swirling rumors suggesting that her husband has taken a second wife.
Speaking in a self-taken video, Florence addressed the allegations, labeling them baseless and urged the public to disregard the misinformation.
“For all I know, my husband has not taken in another wife. If he has done so secretly, then I am yet to hear of it. Ignore those rumors,” she stated.
The gospel musician also addressed speculations surrounding her recent weight loss, which some have attributed to abortions and illness.
According to her, her transformation is entirely her own decision, with no underlying health complications.
“I decided to lose weight as a personal goal. Before marrying my husband, I was slim, and I wanted to look as cute and sexy as I was in the early stages of our marriage. My weight loss has nothing to do with abortions or illness, as some people are claiming.”
Regarding rumors of an alleged pregnancy involving her husband and another woman, she responded with skepticism.
Florence Obinim was shrouded in doubts that her husband, who is a minister of the gospel, will engage in extramarital affairs to the extent of fathering a child out of wedlock.
Her remarks come amid growing public interest and speculation about the Obinim family.
However, Florence remains confident in her marriage, urging Ghanaians to dismiss the hearsay and respect their family’s privacy.
