Ernestina Fosuh, the elder sister of Ghana’s legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba, has reportedly granted Evangelist Papa Shee full power of attorney to act on behalf of the family following the musician’s passing.
According to her statement, Papa Shee has now been officially authorized to handle key family matters, especially those connected to Daddy Lumba’s upcoming second funeral celebration and other related arrangements.
Ernestina explained that the decision was mainly influenced by the fact that many close family members are currently based abroad, particularly in Germany. With them unable to be physically present to manage preparations and important decisions, the family needed someone they trust to take charge on the ground in Ghana.
She described the power of attorney not just as a legal document but as a clear sign of trust and responsibility being placed in Papa Shee’s hands. She emphasized that he has been properly mandated to represent the family and oversee decisions connected to the “Celebration of Life” being planned for the late music icon.
The development comes at a time when the public remains highly interested in how Daddy Lumba’s final funeral rites will be organized, especially considering his massive legacy and influence in Ghana’s music industry.
With Papa Shee now serving as the family’s official representative, it is expected that funeral preparations will move forward with more structure and direction.
