Actress and media personality Akuapem Poloo is among the many celebrities and admirers who have paid respect to Ghanaian influencer and acclaimed female carpenter Ama Endorsed, whose unexpected death sent shockwaves through social media.
Poloo described her shock and sadness at Ama’s premature passing as both bizarre and intensely intimate in an exclusive interview with Ghana Weekend.
She said,
“Ama was very healthy, and her demise shook me. I’m really scared now. I find myself watching my back,” Poloo said, her voice laced with emotion.
“All the furniture in my room was made by Ama, free of charge. She was always focused on her work and incredibly hardworking.”

“She looked very healthy, so when I heard about her sudden death, I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t believe it until I saw a few influential people I admire also sharing the news on their platforms.”
